My name is Karen Mkrtchyan. I am from Armenia, but i currently live in Germany where I've got residence permit. I am an Able-bodied Seaman with experience and I am currently looking for a job. I am extremely interested in getting a job and I am confident that with my educational background and sea experience I will be a great asset to your company. I’ve spent the last 6 years working as a sailor onboard passenger ships in an American cruise line company. During that time, I’ve been performing a large number of different types of jobs related to my professional duties, including: mooring operations, anchoring operations, tendering operations, working in the tanks, working aloft, general maintenance of the ship, etc. I’ve been carrying out duties of Quartermaster, which included ship’s steering and lookout. As well I’ve been performing duties of Fire Patrol, which included maintenance of life saving and firefighting equipment onboard. At the end of my last contract I’ve been promoted to a Deck Cadet position, and I am extremely interested in growing up, building a career and extending my professional horizons.
